Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring You a loss that most people never notice.
A friendship I valued is gone, and I am grieving something the world does not call grief.
There was no funeral, no card, no casserole — just silence where laughter used to be.
You see it, and that is enough for me to name it honestly.
Heal the sting of being left, misunderstood, or replaced.
Proverbs 18:24 says there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Be that friend to me while this wound closes.
Where I caused harm, show me plainly and give me the humility to own it without excuses.
Where I was wronged, keep bitterness from taking root in me.
Romans 12:18 says that as far as it depends on me, I am to live at peace with everyone.
I release what does not depend on me.
I cannot force reconciliation, and I will not beg for a place I was not welcomed in.
Guard me from rehearsing conversations that will never happen.
Guard me from checking their page, reading old messages, and reopening what You are trying to heal.
Teach me to forgive without pretending the loss did not hurt.
Forgiveness is not amnesia; it is releasing them from a debt I cannot collect anyway.
Thank You for the good that was real.
