Strength for Persevering Love in Relationships

Almighty God, I come before you today seeking strength for my relationships. Loving others with the kind of unconditional love you demonstrate can be incredibly challenging, especially in the face of difficulties or disappointments.

Your Word tells us that love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). I pray for this supernatural love.

Lord, grant me the divine strength to persevere in love, even when my natural inclination is to withdraw or react in ways that are unloving. Help me to extend grace and understanding.

Fill my heart with your Spirit, so that your love may flow through me to those around me, especially to family members, friends, or even those who may be difficult to love.

I pray for patience when others test my limits, and for kindness when I feel overlooked or unappreciated. Remove any resentment or bitterness that might hinder my ability to love freely.

Help me to see others through your eyes, recognizing their value and worth, and ministering to them with a selfless heart, just as Christ served us.

Strengthen me to forgive quickly and completely, letting go of offenses and refusing to keep a record of wrongs. I know that true love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6).

When I feel weary in loving, renew my spirit and remind me of your unfailing love for me. Let your love be my example and my motivation.

May my relationships be a testimony to your transformative power, reflecting your enduring love to a world desperately in need of it. I desire to honor you in every interaction.
