Heavenly Father, I come to You with every thought that has been troubling my mind.

You see the worries I have spoken aloud and the fears I have kept hidden.

You know how often my mind rehearses the worst possible outcome.

Today, I surrender my mental burdens to You.

Your Word says: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

” — Isaiah 26:3

Father, You promised perfect peace to the person whose mind is stayed upon You.

Help me fix my thoughts on Your character instead of constantly focusing on what might go wrong.

When my mind wanders into fear, lead me back to Your faithfulness.

When anxiety tells me that I am alone, remind me that You are near.

Your Word also commands me: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

” — Philippians 4:6

Therefore, I bring everything to You.

I bring You my family, health, finances, responsibilities, decisions, unfinished work, disappointments, and unanswered questions.

I refuse to carry in my mind what You have invited me to place in Your hands.

You promised: “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

” — Philippians 4:7

Lord, I stand upon that promise.

Guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Let Your peace stand watch over my thoughts.

Protect me from panic, intrusive fear, hopelessness, and mental exhaustion.

Teach me to think upon what is true instead of what fear imagines.

Help me recognize thoughts that are exaggerated, condemning, or destructive.

Give me wisdom to reject lies and meditate on truth.

You said: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

” — 1 Peter 5:7

Because You care for me, I cast my cares upon You.

I release the need to solve everything tonight.

I release the pressure to understand everything immediately.

I receive grace for this moment and strength for today.

Quiet my mind.

Regulate my emotions.

Restore my concentration.

Give me peaceful sleep and a renewed spirit.

When I awaken, let my first thought be of Your goodness rather than my problems.

I trust You to keep me in perfect peace as I keep turning my mind toward You.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
