I declare that I am beautifully and intentionally created by God.
According to Psalm 139:14, I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I will not insult what God has created by continually speaking hatred over my body, features, personality, or identity.
I reject unrealistic standards, destructive comparison, and the belief that beauty determines my worth.
I will care for my outward appearance without making appearance my god.
According to 1 Samuel 16:7, people often focus upon outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.
Therefore, I ask God to cultivate beauty within me — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
I declare that bitterness will not make my spirit hard.
Jealousy will not make me blind to my own blessings.
Insecurity will not make me compete with everyone around me.
I will care for my body with gratitude.
I will rest, nourish myself, practice healthy hygiene, present myself with dignity, and seek appropriate care when needed.
My beauty is not diminished by aging, scars, illness, disability, changing seasons, or another person’s preferences.
My deepest beauty comes from a life transformed by God.
According to Proverbs 31:30, physical charm can be deceptive and beauty is temporary, but a person who honors God is worthy of praise.
I declare that my inner and outer life will reflect dignity, health, wisdom, authenticity, and grace.
I will not hide because I feel imperfect.
I will show up as the person God created me to be.
I am God’s workmanship.
I carry beauty that comparison cannot measure and time cannot completely remove.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does the prayer “My Declaration of Inner and Outer Beauty” mean?
This declaration ends the habit of speaking hatred over your own body while still caring for it with dignity. Beauty is redefined as character God is forming, which time and comparison cannot erase.
How do I apply “My Declaration of Inner and Outer Beauty” to my own life?
Stop one recurring self-insult and replace it with Psalm 139:14 whenever it surfaces. Care for your body kindly today — water, rest, movement, or an overdue appointment. Show up somewhere you have been avoiding because you felt you did not look good enough.
What Bible verse goes with this declaration prayer?
“The LORD does not look at the things people look at… the LORD looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV) Read the verse slowly before and after praying so the words shape how you pray rather than only how you feel.
Can I pray this prayer every day?
Yes. These daily prayers are free to read, print, or share, and repeating one for a week often does more than reading a new one each day. Praying the same scripture repeatedly helps it settle into how you think and respond.
