My Daily Personal Declaration of Peace

Today, I choose to trust God.

Jesus promised to give me His peace — a peace different from what the world gives (John 14:27, NIV). I receive the peace of Christ over my mind, emotions, home, decisions, relationships, and future.

I will not allow fear to write the conclusion of a story God is still unfolding. I will not allow uncertainty to convince me that God has abandoned me. I will not allow change to make me forget that God remains faithful.

God promises to keep me in perfect peace as I keep my mind steadfast and trust in Him. I turn my mind toward Him today.

I cast my anxiety upon God because He cares for me. I release what I cannot control. I accept the grace available for this moment. I trust God during transition, transformation, waiting, disappointment, and change.

The peace of God guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. God is with me in deep waters. His grace is sufficient for me, and His power is made perfect in my weakness.

I do not have to understand everything before I trust God. I do not have to control everything before I experience peace. I do not have to know tomorrow’s answer before I receive today’s grace.

I choose to be still and remember that God is God. My mind is guarded. My heart is secure. My future is in His hands.

I receive peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
