Father, in the name of Jesus, I stand in the Court of Heaven.

I see the accuser of the brethren standing with stacks of paper, lists of failures, and old charges that have already been paid for.

I present the blood of Jesus Christ as my evidence.

It is finished.

The price has been paid.

Every record of debt has been canceled and nailed to the cross.

Romans 8:34 asks, “Who then is the one who condemns?

No one.

Christ Jesus who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

”

I move for dismissal of every case against me.

I am not the person those papers say I am.

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.

The old has gone; the new is here.

I silence the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony.

I will not testify against myself with self-condemnation.

I will not agree with charges Jesus already dismissed.

Colossians 2:14 says the charge of my legal indebtedness was canceled and taken away.

I declare that cancellation over my finances, my health, my relationships, and my identity.

Let every demonic subpoena, every lying report, and every unjust case be thrown out.

I am free to go, free to build, free to receive, and free to move forward.

I thank You, Judge of heaven, that the gavel has already come down in my favor.

I walk out of this court forgiven, justified, and uncondemned.

In Jesus' name, amen.

NIV Scripture reference: Romans 8:34; Colossians 2:14; 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does the prayer “Petition to Cancel the Accuser’s Case in the Court of Heaven” mean?

The accuser’s entire case depends on old debt. This prayer presents the finished work of Jesus as Exhibit A and asks the court to dismiss every charge. It shifts your posture from defendant to dismissed, from guilty to justified.

How do I apply “Petition to Cancel the Accuser’s Case in the Court of Heaven” to my own life?

Picture the cross as the canceled record of debt when shame resurfaces. Stop testifying against yourself with “I should have…” and “If only…” language. Speak Colossians 2:14 over the areas that still feel charged against you. Walk forward like someone whose case has been thrown out — because it has.

What Bible verse goes with this court of heaven prayer?

“Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” — Romans 8:34 (NIV) Read the verse slowly before and after praying so the words shape how you pray rather than only how you feel.

Can I pray this prayer every day?

Yes. These daily prayers are free to read, print, or share, and repeating one for a week often does more than reading a new one each day. Praying the same scripture repeatedly helps it settle into how you think and respond.
